Zechariah 4:1-9

1 And the angel that talked with me came again , and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said , I have looked , and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying , What are these, my lord?5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said , No, my lord.6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying , This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying , Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. 8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying , 9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

CHOOSE

I AM EXCITED ABOUT THE TIMES WE ARE LIVING IN BUT PART OF ME IS GRIEVED. I FEEL THAT GOD IS GOING TO RESTORE HIS PEOPLE; I FEEL THAT HE IS GOING TO BLESS THE FAITHFUL BUT MORE EXCITING IS THAT I THINK HE IS GOING TO QUICKEN THE UNLIKELY WINNERS; THE ONES WHO HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE CHRISTIAN RACE AT A DISADVANTAGE BUT RUNNING ALL THE SAME! GOD IS GOING TO SET THE CAPTIVE FREE; LIBERATION IS NIGH AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW FAST THOSE THAT WERE WEIGHTED DOWN WILL RUN WHEN THEY ARE SET FREE. ON THE FLIP SIDE I FEEL THAT THERE WILL BE A GREAT UNCOVERING. GOD'S TRUTH WILL PREVAIL AND HE WILL BEGIN THE SHOW FORTH HIS LIGHT IN DARK PLACES AND REVEAL AND UNCOVER WHAT WAS HIDDEN AND THOSE WHO THOUGHT THEY HAD GOTTEN AWAY WITH WHAT THEY WERE DOING WILL HAVE TO ANSWER. STAY IN POSITION AND LET THE LORD FIND YOU READY.

Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve ; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell : but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Revelation 22:11 KJV

He that is unjust , let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy , let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Living in the Last Days

Today in church I saw a vision of a scroll turning and the words on the scroll were light and coming off of the pages. Later someone gave a word of prophecy that said time is winding up. Christ is soon to return.

Luke: Chapter 10
23. And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately , Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see :
24. For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see , and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear , and have not heard them.

HAVE MERCY LORD

Today I had planned to post about Adam and Eve. I found the scripture in Genesis Chapter 1 that said be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion but what kept coming up in my spirit while praying is Have Mercy Lord. "Have Mercy Lord!" "Have Mercy, Jesus!"

BE FRUITFUL, MULTIPLY, REPLENISH

Today I got dressed for church and the car I was driving started cutting off. I had been having problems with it so I decided to turn around while I could. This morning I got the impression to study Adam and Eve with my children this week. I wandered why I studied about Noah first so I looked back over the story of Noah and I found that God had told Noah what he had told Adam..Be Fruitful, Multiply, Replenish. I remembered be fruitful and multiply but I always thought the last part was have dominion. Anyway I decided to study the word replenish.

Replenish
1 a: to fill with persons or animals : stock barchaic: to supply fully : perfect c: to fill with inspiration or power : nourish
2 a: to fill or build up again b: to make good

We have been talking about building up in church and I think that "building up" is critical in this season. The devil knows that we are close to a move of God that will change everything. We are close to a move of God that will equipt God's people to take dominion and to replenish. Because we are so close the devil is pulling out his arsenal and doing all he can to get us off track and out of position. Last Sunday in church God wanted me to compel his people to call in those that had gotten out of position. There are some tares that are suppose to go but there is also wheat that is entangled with the tares. We must restore. When I think of Adam and Eve I think about obedience. It is so important to be obedient. No matter what seems to be going on around us we must focus and do what God has called us to do. We must pray, we must fast, we must build, we must encourage, we must edify, we must restore, we must be fruitful, we must multiply, we must replenish.

There is Power in Righteouness

Since I had been dealing with doubt I decided that my children and I would study faith this week. I pray with my children but God has really been dealing with me about doing more like teaching etc. I am including my younger children too so I am using the story of Noah to teach them on their level. Yesterday we read Genesis chapter 6 and I told them the story of Noah; my little girl said someone had brought a book about Noah to school which made me happy. Today I went to church and had my older two children pray with the younger children and read them Genesis Chapter 7. I read Genesis chapter 7 as well and the fact that Noah's righteousness caused God to save a remnant really impacted me. Other parts that stood out were
Genesis Chapter 7:11In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the window of heaven were opened.
Genesis Chapter7:15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark,two and two of all flesh, wherin is the breath of life.
7:22 All in whose nostris was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

A definition of dry is unproductive of the expected results. I am reminded of something we have been talking about in church Luke 13

Luke 13
5.I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent , ye shall all likewise perish .
6.He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon , and found none.
7.Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold , these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down ; why cumbereth it the ground?
8And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9.And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

It's like God was saying all the dry and unproductive I will destroy and he destroyed it by the very thing it was lacking...moisture. We really need to get it together in this hour before God comes back and finds that we still have not produced fruit. God is merciful and loving but how long will he hold back his wrath. The enemy has launched an attack that has caused a lot of people to lose focus (I was one of the people) but I will pray that all that can be saved find safety in the ark.

Delayed But Not Denied: Reclaiming Your Identity

In a previous post I posted about how when checking on a matter representatives would ask me if I had been a victim of identity theft. It turns out that I was and because of this something that I was waiting on was delayed. I did not realize what affect it had on me at first. I missed church last Sunday and I had planned not to go this Sunday but God told me that if I didn't I would be in disobedience. I went and the service was good. It was good the last time I went too but still I think a part of me had given up. If God would have left me to myself who knows! What was delayed affected my finances and some things I had been waiting to do I couldn't do and it affected me. I won't pretend that it didn't. I was like, I waited and waited and then something that rarely happens just happened to happen to me. I had the attitude that I'm just gonna do what I want if its going to be like this anyway. Some things I won't do because my grace is gone in those areas but I found myself listening to secular music again among some other things. Today in church I realized doubt had crept in and how. Before church God had been dealing with me about taking steps to achieve some of the things I had asked him for. After church I went for a drive and I stopped somewhere that had gardenia bushes; I smelled the fragrance and it was as if God was reminding me of who I was in him. God then told me to drive downtown. I have always wanted to live downtown but the houses are very expensive so I guess I had kind of put that down. It was as if God was telling me to dream again, hope again. In church my pastor said not to die not realizing that what is in your spirit will heal you...Amen. God has placed hidden treasures within us. We must continue to search until we discover them and how he wants us to use them.

2 Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

A Little Leaven...Strange Fire

This morning when I woke up I heard "Fire Hex". I was disturbed. I had been waiting and then I guess searching for God's fire. I got up and asked the Lord, Lord what do you mean? I was led to
Matthew 13:33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kindgom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of mean, till the whole was leavened.
I still needed clarity and my attention focused on a cd that I had ordered, I had picked it up with my bible and some other books I had been reading. I had ordered the cd to try soaking to it. I always knew that there could be danger with this level of music but I thought this artist was okay. I got the cd and I did not like the way the artist looked. I questioned myself and said are you judging her because she is not pretty? but it was something more...she looked animal like. I noticed it and said she kind of looks like a wolf and then I doubted myself again and said "you are being judgemental". This morning while searching the matter God told me that His presence cannot be forced. He reminded me of times that I had worshipped and his presence was so strong that it was almost overwhelming. I long for that again. God was telling me that I could seek him for myself. Even if someone is legitamate they could be in a place in God that you are not ready or even annointed or ordained to go. I do like the idea of being quiet and still before the Lord Jesus but I am going to get back to worshipping him for myself; from my heart with my song.

Leviticus 9
22 .And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out , and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
24 And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw , they shouted , and fell on their faces

Leviticus 10
1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, tookeither of them his censer, and putfire therein, and putincense thereon, and offeredstrangefire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
2 And there went outfire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they diedbefore the LORD.
3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake , saying , I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified . And Aaron held his peace

Deliverance Is Nigh

Today two books that I ordered on deliverance came in the mail. Both of the books were written by Frank Hammond the author of "Pigs in the Parlor". One book is "Overcoming Rejection" and the other is "Children's Deliverance". I believe there is going to be a wave of deliverance for God's people. We need to be whole in order to carry the fire of the Lord and lead people out of darkness. There has been alot of rain in my area; it is symbolic of what is happening in the spirit realm. This is a time of washing, preparing, and getting our house in order (Spring cleaning). I am so greatful for the Spring that has taken place in the lives of believers...a refreshing, and a renewal. I'm excited about what God is doing.

Isaiah 61:1 KJV
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted , to proclaim liberty to the captives , and the opening of the prison to them that are bound ;

Know Who You Are In Christ, Keep Your Identity

A while ago God began to reveal some things about a person I knew. I told someone and they suggested I pray for the person. It was a time in my life that I felt exhausted and I said "I don't think I have anything left". The wise counsel that I received was that if I prayed and interceded for the person that God would give me the strength I needed and raise people up to intercede for me. I began praying for the person and as a result God strengthened me. Today God reminded me again of the principle learned...when you build up others and pray for others it strengthens and helps you. Today God gave me the revelation that if I began to pray and intercede for others he would raise up people and intercessors to pray for me and it would change everything. This principle seems simple enough but when life is full of chaos and one blow comes after the other, simple things aren't always so simple. I hope you don't mind but I am going to be transparent today. My older sons and I were talking and I told them what God had told me about interceding for others and we began to talk about intercession and the importance of having the Holy Spirit. As we were talking I told them how when we began interceding for others everything that had been held up would be released. We then began to talk about how things seemed to be unnaturally held up and then I remembered one thing in particular. Every time I would call to check on it the representative would ask me if I had been a victim of identity theft. Something clicked. Identity theft. The devil had launched these attacks to keep me immobile. To keep me from walking in the fullness of who God has called me to be. In a sense I had lost my identity in a way. A sort of spiritual amnesia; I wasn't worshiping and I am a worshiper, I wasn't interceding and God has called me to intercession etc. We must not lose focus in times. We must remain on fire for Christ. We must pray, we must fast, we must study the bible, we must build up our brothers and sisters in Christ, we must worship! It's who we are. It's our identity.

Revelation 3
1. And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write ; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I knowthy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest , and artdead.
2.Be watchful , and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die : for I havenot found thy works perfect before God.
3.Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard , and hold fast , and repent . If therefore thou shalt not watch , I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4.Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5He that overcometh , the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6.He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
7.And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write ; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth , and no man shutteth ; and shutteth , and no man openeth ;
8.I knowthy works: behold , I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9.Behold , I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and ar enot, but do lie ; behold , I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to knowt hat I have loved thee.
10.Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11.Behold , I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast , that no man take thy crown.
12.Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13.He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
14.And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write ; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15.I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot.
16.So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17.Because thou sayest , I am rich, and increased with goods , and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18.I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich ; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed , and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear ; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see .
19.As many as I love , I rebukeand chasten : be zealous therefore, and repent .
20.Behold , I stand at the door, and knock : if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21.To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame , and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22.He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

STAND

These are strange and trying times. I have come to what I thought was the edge of my faith more than once but every time God has nudged me to take another step and there I have found hidden bridges. I will not give up. I will not back down. I know in whom I can safetly put my trust. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob the One and Only, True and Living God....Jesus. I have this confidence...He will come and that right early and if I hold on there is victory in him. Sometimes I feel so alone but that's okay. I'll walk alone if I have to; I will leave behind everything it really doesn't matter. I believe God. I have been entangled in sin and I won't go back. I will wait! Wiping tears if I have to; crawling if I must; however. I will make it to the promise. I will stand.

Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holyplace, (whoso readeth , let him understand :)

Psalm 93

The Lord reigneth,he is clothed with majesty;
the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself:
the world also is established, that it cannot be moved
Thy throne is established of old:
thou art from everlasting.
The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods have lift up their waves
The Lord is mightier than the noise of many waters,
yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
Thy testimonies are very sure:
holines becometh thine house,O Lord, forever.

LETTING GO OF JUDAS

I have always been particular about who I let in my life. I have recently come to the conclusion that someone in my life is not for me. I love this person but after doing an inventory of our relationship I have to be honest with myself. After considering everything I am noticing all of the distractions; all of the hinderances. When do you let go of Judas? If God allowed the relationship to ultimately bring to pass his will at what point do you let go? Jesus who is an example of what love should be walked with Judas knowing all along that he would betray him. How do you walk with a person knowing they aren't for you? Watching relationships that could have grown die because of seeds of discord they sow. Does Judas know his assignment or is he used unwittingly? I want to be able to love freely without fear but I am at a crossroad; do I hand it over to Jesus or do I say enough and let go?

Luke 22:48
But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

PIGS IN THE PARLOR

I finished reading "Pigs in the Parlor" by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. I was in a bible bookstore about a week ago and I was waiting for the person working in the store to do something and I picked up the book and bought it. I can't begin to describe the value of this book to the Body of Christ. The book is about deliverance. It likens living with demons to having pigs in your home...unacceptable! This is one of the best Christian books I have read if not the best (Bible not included; the Bible is by far the most important and best book for anyone, especially a Christian). I would recommend this book to anyone; this is the type of authority we as Christians should be walking in.

Cry Unto the Lord.

I haven't felt like writing in a while. I had planned to post something this week because God gave me the date 2/20/2012. I don't know if the date is significant to me personally or if it's for everyone. I will be sure to intercede; intercede with me. I had to post today to tell you of God's goodness. On my way to work it was raining hard and I was on a road that was flooded so I figured "hey I had better turn around". When I backed up, I backed up into a ditch. I was inches (and not many inches at all) away from backing up on a power line and the car I was driving was stuck in a ditch. I tried to drive out of the ditch and couldn't and got out of the car to discover the ditch was knee deep and filled with water. I began to call on Jesus! I said "no Lord, help me please". I began to cry and I called 911; along that time a guy pulled up and told me he was going to go get his four wheeler but before he could make it back a guy in a silver truck came and said "so your stuck in a ditch"? I said yeah and he said "you're not crying are you"? He then said "I'm gonna do what I can to try to help you". He opened the back of his truck and pulled out a rope and told me what to do. I drove out of the ditch and to work. I made it to work and unless I tell someone no one but the people that were there would not know what had happened. I am so encouraged in God and in people. There is hope. We only have to ask! Cry out to the Lord; tell him what it is you need. His ears are open to his children. He will answer.

Psalm 4:1 KJV
Hear me when I call , O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

RESTORATION OF WORSHIP

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Psalm 46
1. To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
2. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3. Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
4. There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
5. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
6. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
8. Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth.
9.He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.
10. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
11. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

Wall of Defense

I was doodling one day and when I was finished I knew that I had actually drawn something. I knew it was a figure of something in medicine. Later I figured out it was a cell wall. A cell wall is a line of defense. It keeps good things in and bad things out. I began to think on my week. It has been some kind of week. I asked the Lord "how did I get here, how did I get to this place" God told me that it was the music I had been listening to. All week I had been listening to secular music and then I found myself weak. We have to really guard what we let in, in this hour. I had been playing the bible at night and my flesh found a way to be strengthened, it was music. It could be music, food, sex, alcohol...whatever. Flesh does not want to die so whatever it has to do to remain alive it will.

1.What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound ?
2.God forbid . How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein ?
3.Know ye not , that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4.Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5.For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6.Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed , that hence forth we should not serve sin.
7.For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8.Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more;
9. death hath no more dominion over him.
10.For in that he died , he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth , he liveth unto God.
11.Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12.Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14.For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15.What then? shall we sin , because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid .
16. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey ; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?17.But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you .
18.Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20.For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21.What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed ? for the end of those things is death.
22.But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23.For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

CHOOSE LIFE

I HEARD "A MEASURE OF WHEAT" AND I GOT SO EXCITED BECAUSE I WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE SCRIPTURE IN 2 KINGS 7 AND I THOUGHT THE LORD WAS TELLING ME THINGS WERE GOING TO TURN AROUND OVER NIGHT.WHEN I LOOKED FOR THE SCRIPTURE I CAME ACROSS REVELATION 6. I BELIEVE THAT IN THIS NEXT MOVE OF GOD IF WE AS THE BELIEVER ARE FOUND FAITHFUL IN THE HOUR OF VISITATION GOD WILL REWARD BUT...IF WE ARE FOUND UNFAITHFUL THERE WILL BE WEEPING
2 KINGS 7
1. Then Elisha said , Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
2. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said , Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said , Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. 3. And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die ?
4. If we say , We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come , and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive , we shall live ; and if they kill us, we shall but die .
5. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.
6. For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
7. Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.
8. And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink , and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again , and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.
9. Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace : if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come , that we may go and tell the king's household.
10. So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying , We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied , and asses tied , and the tents as they were.
11. And he called the porters; and they told it to the king's house within.
12. And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying , When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
13. And one of his servants answered and said , Let some take , I pray thee, five of the horses that remain , which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed :) and let us send and see .
14. They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying , Go and see .
15. And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste . And the messengers returned , and told the king.
16. And the people went out , and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.
17. And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died , as the man of God had said , who spake when the king came down to him.
18. And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying , Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:
19. And that lord answered the man of God, and said , Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said , Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
20. And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died .

Revelation 6
1.And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard , as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying , Come and see .
2.And I saw , and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering , and to conquer.
3.And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say , Come and see .
4.And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat there on to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5.And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say , Come and see . And I beheld , and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand
6.And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say , A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7.And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say , Come and see .
8.And I looked , and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
9.And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held :
10.And they cried with a loud voice, saying , How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11.And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled .
12.And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo , there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13.And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14.And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together ; and every mountain and is land were moved out of their places.
15.And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16.And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sittet hon the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17For the great day of his wrath is come ; and who shall be able to stand ?

Satiated

Satiated: to satisfy (as a need or desire) fully or to excess

Satiety: the quality or state of being fed or gratified to or beyond capacity : surfeit, fullness

I have a Bible CD collection and I recently bought an mp3 player and recorded scripture on it and began to listen to it from time to time. For a while now I have tried to read at least few chapters in various books in the Bible daily. I have been playing my Bible Cds in the DVD player at bedtime and yesterday I received the complete Bible on DVD that I had ordered. I believe we have gotten beyond the point of reading a few chapters of the Bible a day and that being effective. I believe we need to immerse ourselves in scripture; to become satiated with the Word of God in order to be able to stand.

Phillipians 4
1.Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
2. I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3.And I intreat thee also, true yoke fellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4.Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say , Rejoice .,
5.Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8.Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9.Those things, which ye have both learned , and received , and heard , and seen in me, do : and the God of peace shall be with you
