HARVEST...AN EXPECTED END

Today was a crazy day! My mom spent her birthday with my grandmother in the ER, but thank God all is well. When I got off I called to check on my grandmother and to tell my mom happy birthday. When I said happy birthday my mom's response which was "thank you" was a little dry; so I asked "did you get your package" she said no.  After we got off the phone I checked my messages and sure enough the flower shop that I had placed my delivery with had called saying they were out of stock of the container for the flower arraignment I had ordered. By the time I checked the message the shop was closed so I went to walmart and got flowers and a candle warmer. I chose roses and sunflowers. I took two of the sunflowers out and decided to take one to my great aunt who lived close to the store. When I got there she looked at me strange and asked if I knew she had been sick. I told her no I just decided to stop by. I hugged her, talked to her briefly, gave her the flower and left. I then went to the hospital and gave my mom her gift and my grandmother her flower. Time is precious; especially time with the ones you love. I looked back on today's events in awe of the wisdom of God. He knew my great aunt had been sick and he knew going to the store by her home would make me think of her.
He knew that flowers would brighten my mother's day. Quite a few people I know have birthdays this month. I hope every one I hold dear had a good birthday. My birthday is next month; my son  got my gift early and asked if he could give it to me early. When I got home my gift was on the bed. It was a candle holder like the one he had seen me buy for another loved one whose birthday was this month. He had seen how much I liked it and had been waiting to surprise me with it, so in essence I had reaped what I had sown.
Ecclesiastes 3
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

September

Tomorrow is my mother's birthday. I wanted to send her flowers this year but placing the order online took an extremely long time. It made me think of how so much has been held up this year. But the season is changing! The gradual change in the weather lets me know that the heat (the fire) is almost gone! I wasn't born in September but I must say there is something very special about this month.

Honor

This morning I heard another song; the song was a scripture. "Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, what God has for us, eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, what God has for us" as I write.. I hear "hold on and receive your crown". I woke up this morning and I had intended to cook breakfast and before I got up my grandmother said "I thought you were gonna fix breakfast" I got up and fixed breakfast and then my lovely grandmother was really feeling herself and said "now fix me cappuccino"... I said "now we agreed on breakfast" and I heard "give honor, where honor, is due." So today I honor my family, my loved ones, my children, my pastors and everyone. I love you with the love of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2
9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
PRAY IN THE SPIRIT

It rained yesterday in the city that I am from. It was something different about the rain. It was as if what was happening in the natural was a direct parallel of what was happening in the spirit. I heard the question "Do you still love me?" and my response was a melody that poured from me in song "You ask me if I love you still; I always will, I always will, you're my desire I belong to you, my one and only this love is true, I hear you asking...if I love you still, I always will, I always will".
Song of Solomon 3
The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth ?

SPIRITUAL ENVIRONMENT

ENVIRONMENT...ENVIRONMENT HAS BEEN COMING UP LATELY. TODAY I FELT LED TO GO TO A BIBLE BOOK STORE IN THE AREA AND I LOOKED AROUND TRYING TO FIND THE REASON I WAS THERE. THE STORE WAS PLAYING THE BIBLE ON DVD IN THE BACKGROUND AND I FINALLY REALIZED THAT I WAS NOT THERE TO MAKE A PURCHASE...I WAS THERE BECAUSE GOD WAS SHOWING ME WHAT THE PROPER SPIRITUAL ENVIRONMENT WILL DO FOR YOUR SPIRIT. THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF TURMOIL IN MY LIVING ARRAINGMENTS FOR SOME TIME NOW. THE LAST THING THAT HAPPENED WAS LIGHTENING STRIKING THE CENTRAL HEATING AND AIR UNIT...WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THE CHANCES OF THAT I THOUGHT AND I SOON FOUND MYSELF BEING AGGITATED AND ANGRY. TODAY I THOUGHT ABOUT WHY THAT AREA WAS UNDER SUCH AN ATTACK AND I WAS AMAZED I HADN'T SEEN IT ALL ALONG. HOME IN MY MIND SHOULD BE LIKE A SANCTUARY...WITH SCRIPTURE OR MUSIC PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND; SCRIPTURES STENCILED ON THE WALL; A PLACE OF PEACE. I ALSO DROVE BY THE WATER TODAY AND I WONDERED, WHAT IS IT ABOUT THE WATER? THE BEAUTY OF IT DRAWS YOU RIGHT INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD. WHEN I AM CALM AND IN THAT KIND OF ENVIRONMENT WORSHIP, POETRY, AND GIFTINGS FLOW. ONCE I DROVE BY THE WATER AND I STARTED SPEAKING A POEM TO GOD OUTLOUD AND IT WAS AS IF IT FLOWED RIGHT FROM MY SPIRIT AND I WAS ONLY LISTENING. HOW DO YOU GET TO AND STAY IN THAT PLACE?

MATTHEW 14:13

When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns.
