Distractions

Today I went to prayer and the speaker began to talk about distractions and how the devil will use subtle things to steal your attention and cause you to miss something God has for you. While she was speaking a dream I had years ago came to me. In the dream I was in a store and a woman walked up to me and started to prophesy she carried such an anointing that I was frozen; taking in every word. Out of no where a woman walked up and started a random conversation; normally I would listen, trying not to hurt someone's feeling but somehow I knew that her purpose was to keep this woman from telling me what I needed to hear. I told the person that had interrupted the prophesy that she was a distraction and I would not let her keep me from getting what God had for me. The lady who had interrupted us began to manifest (demonically) and the devil was exposed. In this season don't be fooled out of your destiny; pray and watch!

Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak

An Expected End...God is Faithful

I saw another rainbow today and I thought about God's promises. My co-workers and I got into a conversation today about people knowing when they were going to pass. I told them about the experience with my father; finding him with his arms folded and his burial clothes laid out on the bed in the next room. I told her how I had asked God a hard thing; I had asked him for the salvation of my family and how God told me that he would do it for me even if it was just the space to repent. God is so very faithful. It is human nature to not want to feel like you have no control so when God puts you in a situation that you can't do anything it is sometimes difficult to handle but if we stop and think we have to admit God's goodness...we have to admit his faithfulness. God is faithful and that won't change.

The Gift

Some months ago I had a dream about a co-worker of mine. In the dream she was asking someone that was pregnant "what are you going to do with this gift that God gave you?" I  was torn about telling her the dream even though I knew that I should. Before I left the house to head to work my co-worker called. My co-worker and I don't talk outside of work a lot so I knew that her calling that morning wasn't a coincidence. I told her the dream and she never said anything. I had forgotten about it until yesterday. She came to my office and said "I have something I want to tell you when you have a minute." I told her to tell me. "Remember that dream about me you told me about" she said; well when I went out of town I went to visit a friend's house and her young daughter was pregnant and she began to tell me about the pregnancy, saying that her daughter had gotten herself into trouble by getting pregnant and I felt the Lord say "this is the person the dream was for" she said she began to tell the parent about the dream and then asked the parent and daughter "what are you going to do with this gift?" she said they both began to weep. My co-worker then told me that her friend had called the other day and told her that person after person had told her daughter that the child was a wonderful gift and some even asked "what are you going to do with this gift?" My co-worker then said "thank you for telling me...you have seeds all the way in Virginia that are coming up." Hallelujah for harvest. I praise God for the news getting back to me. Sometimes when you don't see results doubt creeps in but there is no need to doubt; God is faithful, and there is and expected end.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
