Seek God's Face
There is confusion all around and God is not the author of confusion so we as believers need to be praying fervently; we need to pray for truth, discernment and that God's will be done. I feel that something needed to be done about terrorism; I saw America changing and how against Christ and Christianity people were becoming. Something needed to be done; America was on its way to becoming the modern day Sodom and Gomorrah where anything goes and morality was the minority. This agenda to remove Hispanic immigrants bothers me though. I have always noticed similarities between my culture and the Hispanic culture. I heard someone say "Turn In the Bad Ones" when referring to another issue and I feel that this should be the case with immigration. This is a nation of immigrants. I feel that instead of focusing on an entire race we should be focusing on doing something about "the bad ones". Most people just want to live and take care of their families...there is no crime in that; it is admirable. Before this immigration initiative I knew good families that lived in fear...they went to work, church, nearby stores and basically stayed in their neighborhood because of fear of deportation...what life must be like for them now. You can feel the thick sense of "Terror" in this community. I have always thought it strange how susceptible people are to becoming the very thing they are fighting against...crooked cops, fallen preachers, unethical doctors. Some of these people went in with the purest of intentions but somewhere along the journey they became overtaken by the very thing they were fighting. I think its because a lot of the time we forget we are not wrestling against mere flesh and blood and if we don't constantly seek God we stand the risk of conversion.
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then shall I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

John 14:17
I voted for Hillary Clinton. I voted for her because I am African American and I feared what would happen to African Americans under President Trump...its a shame to admit but I had to fight my flesh to call him President Trump and not just Trump. The killings of young black men and women by police happened under previous presidencies. After I voted for Hillary, after Trump (President Trump...God's not through with me yet) God gave me dreams about Hillary for three nights and they were not good..it was as if God was saying it's not what you thought. I am at war within myself because part of me wants to be that militant black "sista" that stands up and says you better not try it and part of me is saying look beyond the smoke screen. Below is the video that inspired this post.

Reign Jesus Reign
I had a dream it was raining very hard. I was outside of an old church and I knew it was getting ready to flood. I knew that I needed to leave soon before I wouldn't be able to. It was hard for me to leave because I was enjoying the rain.
I was drenched and enjoying every second of the rain so much so that I was joyfully singing "Its raining". I thought about an old post; it was from 2012. I am reposting it today.
It has been raining since early morning in the area I live in. I went for a drive anyway. Streets were flooded; cars were stuck. It rained so much where a relative of mine lives that water started coming in the house. I knew I needed to pray and felt led to post but I feel the post should be a repost of some posts. Below are Reposts
This morning I heard Zerubabbel and later I began to study. What I have found so far is very interesting.Ezra returned with a remnant from Babylon and God stirred the spirit of King Cyrus and King Cyrus made a proclamation that the God of heaven had charged him to build him a house in Jerusalem.Adversaries attempt to join the building of the temple but Ezra refuses and then Ezra is met with opposition and the building of the temple is put on hold. Haggai and Zechariah prophesy to the people and the building resumes this reminds me of Malachi Chapter 3
7. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said , Wherein shall we return ?
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say , Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.,br>9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10.Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
So often we get consumed with the cares of our own lives and forget the weightier matters. The bible says that the elders weeped when they saw the foundation laid
Ezra 3:12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the firsthouse, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:
Haggai 2:1-9
1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying ,
2.Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying ,
3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
4. Yet now be strong , O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong , O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong , all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work : for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remainethamong you: fear ye not.
6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come : and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
Haggai again prophesies about the uncleanliness of the nation. At one point Ezra goes on a fast and cries and weeps because of the transgressions of the people
Ezra 10:
9.Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain.
10 And Ezra the priest stood up , and said unto them, Ye have transgressed , and have takenstrange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.
11 Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.
12 Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As thou hast said, so must we do .
13.But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two: for we are many that have transgressed in this thing.
14. Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand , and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.
It also reminds me of a scripture I read on Sunday.
Ezekiel 33:1-16
1. Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying ,
2.Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land takea man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman :
3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
4. Then whosoeverheareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning ; if the sword come , and take him away , his blood shall be upon his own head.
5. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning ; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6. But if the watchmansee the sword come , and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned ; if the sword come , and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman'shand.
7. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
8. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surelydie ; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
9. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
10. Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak , saying , If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live ?
11.Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live : turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die , O house of Israel?
12.Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth .
13. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live ; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered ; but for his iniquity that he hath committed , he shall die for it.
14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die ; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15. If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surelylive , he shall not die .
16. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live .
God is calling his people to lay the foundations for the latter rain and we must be holy if we are not to be consumed by his glory
Hosea 6
1.Come , and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn , and he will heal us; he hath smitten , and he will bind us up .
2. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up , and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know , if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
4. O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the earlydew it goeth away .
5. Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth .
6. For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7. But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8.Gilead is a city of them that workiniquity, and is polluted with blood.
9. And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent : for they commitlewdness.
10.I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
1 Kings Chapter 18
And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying , Go , shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
2 And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria.
3 And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly:
4 For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)
5 And Ahab said unto Obadiah, Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and unto all brooks: peradventure we may find grass to save the horses and mules alive , that we lose not all the beasts.
6 So they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab wentone way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by himself.
7 And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said , Art thou that my lord Elijah?
8 And he answered him, I am: go , tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.
9 And he said , What have I sinned , that thou wouldest deliver thy servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?
10 As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said , He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.
11 And now thou sayest , Go , tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.
12 And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.
13 Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD, how I hid an hundred men of the LORD'S prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water?
14 And now thou sayest , Go , tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here: and he shall slay me.
15 And Elijah said , As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand , I will surely shew myself unto him to day.
16 So Obadiah went to meet Ahab, and told him: and Ahab went to meet Elijah.
17 And it came to pass, when Ahab sawElijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?
18 And he answered , I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
19 Now therefore send , and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.
20 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.
21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said , How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces , and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:
24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said , It is well spoken.
25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under.
26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying , O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered . And they leaped upon the altar which was made .
27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said , Cry aloud : for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked .
28 And they cried aloud , and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them
. 29 And it came to pass, when midday was past , and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer , nor any that regarded.
30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down .
31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying , Israel shall be thy name:
32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.
33 And he put the wood in order , and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said , Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.
34 And he said , Do it the second time . And they did it the second time . And he said , Do it the third time . And they did it the third time . 35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.
36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near , and said , LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
37.Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
38. Then the fire of the LORD fell , and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
39. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said , The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.
40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape . And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
41. And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up , eat and drink ; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
42. So Ahab went up to eat and to drink . And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,
43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up , and looked , and said , There is nothing. And he said , Go again seven times.
44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said , Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said , Go up , say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down , that the rain stop thee not.
45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode , and went to Jezreel.
46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Simply Beautiful
Last night I had a dream that I was painting dandelions on a podium...it was such a simple dream but I remember feeling so peaceful and filled with so much joy from something as simple as painting flowers. Simplicity can be so beautiful sometimes. I remember some years back God kept telling me he wanted to spend time with me. I planned this grand sabbatical where I would go on a trip and when it didn't work out I remember being upset and when I prayed about it God basically told me he simply wanted to spend time with me...in other words it was me who had planned this grand hiatous. A while later circumstances in my life occured that made me slow down and stop. I rented a room on the beach and God recharged and rejuvenated me...I only needed to designate alone with time him.

Have Your Way....Flow
I rode downtown today with my mom and I told her that an older lady had told me that her mother said there use to be a stream that ran downtown. My mom told me that someone that worked for the city told her there was more than one and the place where they had been redirected underground had to be pumped out ever so often. This explains why the downtown area is prone to flooding. I contacted my cousin who I also talked with this about and she forwarded me an article that talked about three streams that flowed into the downtown area. The article stated that some people had proposed that the streams be dug up and allowed to flow downtown which would be nice but the streams didn't just flow downtown origionally. It made me think about my hometown...Pensacola Fl. What is it about Pensacola? I wrote a post after the oil spill about our water being contaminated by the oil...now it is becoming clear that natural streams with fresh clean water that flowed freely which residents had access to were covered up and redirected underground. It has been prophesied that Pensacola would be the location of a great revival...why here? I don't know. It is one of America's oldest cities. It is also the place that seems to draw people from all over America. I don't think the incedents with our water are coincidences; I think they are symbolic to the attempts to muffle or contaminate the move of God. Revival is coming and when the set time occurs and God moves his Holy Spirit won't be stopped.

Study to show thyself Approved
Last night I dreamed I was in a library of some sort with some family members from my father's side of the family. In the dream I was trying to find a bible to read a certain scripture to cast a demon that was there out...what was odd was that even though the demon was there I don't remember actually seeing it which means it was more than likely assigned to that side of my family as a whole. This morning when I checked my email I had an email on memorizing scripture...pretty clear instructions.

Standing on New Ground; Step In
One year I participated in something that was called "Dirty Santa"...everyone brought a gift and each person chose a wrapped gift not knowing what it was or who it was from. We were allowed to trade gifts and at the end whatever gift you ended up with was yours. Everyone went for the biggest gifts and the ones that had the prettiest gift wrapping but some of the best gifts were the ones that were small and wrapped poorly. I thought about that today while in church. The messsage was about crossing over; it talked about the children of Israel crossing out of the wilderness into the land that was promissed to them. God often answers our prayers in ways that we wouldn't expect. God often answers in ways that are beyond our understanding. His ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts and he wants to give us more than we can imagine but the journey to the promise will more than likely not be easy...the journey to the promise will more than likely not be pretty but the promise..the prize will be more than we hoped for.

We Are Stronger Together; Unified in Truth.
There has been something that has been troubling me for a while. I am reminded of it almost daily. Years ago someone did a demonstration that acted it out visually with perfection. There was an infantry and the infantry was victorious but one of the members of the infantry shot a fellow member of the infantry..."Friendly Fire". The soldier knew to be on the lookout for the enemy but never suspected that his demise would come from his friend or a member of his team. That bothers me, that bothers me, that bothers me! but sadly it is very true and happening constantly in the Body of Christ. I saw something on the internet that said something like if church hurt causes you to turn from God, something is wrong with your relationship with God. While there is truth in that statement it reminds me of when someone reads a portion of the scripture instead of the whole to get there point across. The Bible says that people that are whole don't need a physician; what that means to me is that some people are coming to church in a wounded state...if they are coming to get healed and are injured worse, my Lord...how deep the wound. The church should be a place of refuge and healing. Why is there so much division? If there is no intention to help someone at the very least there should be silence...but sadly that's not the case; people come to the church or an individual member of the church needing help and instead of helping they join in with what is already against that person...what is that? I am convinced it is not God. Then not only is the person fighting generational curses, principalities and whatever else trying to keep them from becoming whole (probably because of the damage they would do to the kingdom of darkness) they are now also fighting words from the ones or one that was suppose to help them. I am fired up this morning because I am tired. I am reminded of the old song that says "If you can't help me please, don't stop me; move out of my way...don't try to block me; I got a race to run and I am running by faith...at the finishing line...I want to see God's face." I am also reminded of the scripture Galations 5:7 Ye did run well: who did hinder you that you obey not the truth?." I am also reminded of the passage in the bible that always bothered me 1 Kings 13 where the man of God was doing what God had told him to...he was in the will of God but a old prophet came and lied and caused the man to disobey God and it cost him his life...that scripture always gets to me because had it been someone the Man of God had not recognized as one of God's he never would have listened. What's wrong? Is it envy? Is it pride? Is it that the remedy is unknown and instead of seeking the Lord its easier to condemn? What in the world is it that would cause a brother to wound a brother, especially one is already wounded?" I don't know so I'll pray. I'll pray for unity; I'll pray for the unlikely one; I'll pray for the underdog. I will intercede because I truly don't know but I do know the answer is much needed because we are stronger together. Someone made that there slogan...It may have just been catchy but it is true, just like it is true that our relationship with God is what is key but we function better as a whole....I will pray for unity. I will pray for truth...the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Amen. I love you with the love of Christ.
(Matthew 9:12,13 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.)
1 Kings 13
And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.
2 And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.
3 And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the Lord hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
4 And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
5 The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord.
6 And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the Lord thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the Lord, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.
7 And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.
8 And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:
9 For so was it charged me by the word of the Lord, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.
10 So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.
11 Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.
12 And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.
13 And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,
14 And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.
15 Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.
16 And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:
17 For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.
18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
19 So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.
20 And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came unto the prophet that brought him back:
21 And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee,
22 But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
23 And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.
24 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.
25 And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.
26 And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the Lord: therefore the Lord hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake unto him.
27 And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.
28 And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.
29 And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.
30 And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!
31 And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:

Strategy
Today while playing a game that I like to play I got tired of getting beaten by my opponent. I normally play quickly...its a word game and I can easily look at the letters in my hand and find a word to play but I was getting beaten repeatedly. I knew in order for me to win I could not make a move in haste without carefully choosing my play or carefully choosing my words. I took my time, thought out my moves and won the next two games. These wins came after a losing streak; it made me think about how important it is to have a strategy and how important it is to consistantly stick to that strategy. God has given me many strategies...I always start off good and then something derails me...its normally the kind of attack that causes me to become emotionally unstable. I have made up my mind that the things that God has placed on my heart to do (the strategies He has given) I will do consistently...if something touches my emotions and causes turmoil...I will continue...tissues and sneakers if need be! I won't stop.
Galations 5:7-8
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

PSALMS 24
1(A Psalm of David.) The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Selah.
