About a week ago I went walking at a park that I like to walk at and I found a painted rock ( For those that don't know people decorate rocks and leave them behind for people to find). So I found a rock, and then another and as I kept walking I found another. When I found the third rock I began to feel guilty and thought about leaving it for someone else. As I considered it more I thought to myself what if they are all meant for me? and then I began to purposely scan the area for more rocks as I walked and found two more. How many times do we back up from blessings that God has for us? When God talks about blessings he often talks about abundance and overflow yet for some reason some of his children (me included in that number at times) put limitations on the blessings he wants to release in our lives. The experience made me think of I dream I had. In the dream I was on an island of some sort and at first I was by myself. Then I noticed that giant snow crabs in (which I love) were abundant in the water. A man appeared next to me as I was wondering if it was okay for me to get the snow crab. Next I wondered if I did get the snow crab, how many I could get?
I reached down and they were easy for me to get. Since I had self-imposed a limitation on how much I could get I only took a little. I have to admit that the guy being present influenced my feeling guilty for getting the snow crab and his presence also influenced how much I got. I have thought about that dream from time to time and a I did I came to the conclusion that I could have freely gathered....there was no sign that said "No Crab Fishing" or rules or regulations that I knew of that prohibited crabbing or set limitations on how much you fished. I set those limitations myself and it limited what was there for the me in other words it limited my receiving of the blessing before me. Later, when I recalled that dream I told myself that I should have gotten as much snow crab as I wanted and took a little extra to give away. Yet when I found the rocks (in real life) while walking I almost put a self-imposed restriction on how many I could get. Last night I dreamed I was walking with someone and began to find old coins; in this dream I gathered all that I could; everyone that I saw and could get to...that was more like it! I want to be able to hear God and if he says do not gather or partake then I will be obedient, but if the blessing is laid before me I want to have the mind-frame to ask him if it is okay, and if he says yes, gather as much as I can; and
if I don't hear, to decree Lord, I am considering this as a blessing from you. I plead the blood of Jesus over it and decree it is sanctified and for me...AMEN! God Bless you. There is an Old Irish Blessing that says...
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand
And my blessing to you is... May the blessings of God be on your path today and everyday, may you see them and gather them to the full.
Psalm 119:

Luke 6:38

Ephesians 3:20
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
