A Word of Ecouragement

Spring (A poem by Whosethatlady)
After the dead cold of winter spring brings forth new life
Just rewards for trials and strife
beautiful gifts that winter tried to kill
bloom and blossom as they shake off the chill
grass that was brown and withered
Now clothed in brilliant green
Flowers and birds of vast species to be seen
trees once whipped bare by winter's icy breeze
now overflowing with an abundance of leaves
winter thought it had defeated me
my end it thought it had seen
then I bloomed and blossemed in the glory of spring

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, [and] my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, [for] a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

That I will give [you] the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected

Exceeding Abundantly

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us
I am writing this post as a pledge...I will not shrink myself to fit in the box that others would put me in! I will be all that God has called and destined me to be.
I would like to share a poem that I like with you.
Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
